Connection method for a three-circuit distribution box

Output Circuit Connections

For each circuit, connect the load terminals to the output of the corresponding MCB. In a three-phase load, connect all three phases to the load via a three-pole MCB. Distribute single-phase loads evenly across the three phases to maintain load balance, which improves efficiency and reduces the risk of overloading any single phase .

Conductor Sizing

Select conductor sizes based on the expected load and length of the run. For typical residential or light commercial setups, 10 AWG or 8 AWG may be used for hot lines, with neutral sized appropriately. Always verify with local electrical codes .
