  • This MCB acts as the primary isolator and protects the entire distribution system . 3. Connect to RCCB (Residual Current Device):
  • The output of the main MCB is connected to the input of the RCCB.
  • RCCBs provide protection against leakage currents, electrical shocks, and insulation faults.
  • Ensure the RCCB rating matches the main MCB, commonly 30mA for domestic installations . 4. Branch Circuit Connections:
  • From the output of the RCCB, connect to the input of branch MCBs.
  • Use single-pole MCBs for standard loads (lighting, sockets) and double-pole MCBs for special loads (air conditioners, water heaters).
